Exterior Repaints

Our exterior repaints feature a four step process that insures that your home comes through looking its best:
Step 1: Cleaning
All of our exterior repaints start with a free cleaning. We use a harmless bleach and water solution to remove mildew from your home's wood, stucco, brick, gutter, and downspout surfaces. We then use a medium force mist with our pressure washer to remove the solution as well as dirt, spider webs, and any other debris that collects on most homes.
Step 2: Repair/Restoration
Our next step is to scrape, sand, and repair or replace any damaged wood on your home's trim or siding. Then we follow with caulking all the open joints on the homes trim, siding windows, and doors. We use paintable white caulking on wood surfaces and clear caulking when caulking on wood to brick (around windows and doors).
Step 3: Painting
We then apply the paint. Our standard method is to brush all trim, doors, windows, gutters and downspouts, although in some cases airless spraying can be used after completely covering all surrounding surfaces with paper, plastic, tape, and canvas drop cloths (certain conditions such as excessive wind and tight surroundings prevent spraying).
We generally airless spray and back brush large amounts of siding to apply the product evenly. For best results we recommend using semi-gloss exterior paint on trim, and low luster finish on your homes siding.
Step 4: Final Rinse
The final step is to rinse all your homes glass with a Windex outdoor cleaning solution.
We recommend painting your exterior every 3 to 5 years depending on your home's exposure to the sun and other elements. We also recommend pressure cleaning and caulking your home's surface annually if needed to extend your paint job.
